Each night this season, as the cast of Studio Tenn Theatre Company takes the stage for a production of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” the actors will gear up for a demanding journey of emotional, psychological and spiritual transformation.
Just not, as the joke goes, Chip Arnold.
Arnold, who’s been through his own challenging excursions for the past four years as miser-turned-generous-soul Ebenezer Scrooge in the company’s production of “A Christmas Carol,” portrays mean old man Mr. Potter, a greedy banker who is consistently villainous, beginning to end.
