STUDIO TENN INTERNSHIPS
Studio Tenn Theatre Company is proud to offer young theatre practitioners the opportunity to train with industry and union professionals including IATSE, USA, SDC, and Actors’ Equity. As a valued member of the Studio Tenn family, interns work closely with artistic, producing, and administrative staff to help build and create shows that garnish both local and national press alike. Our for-credit internship program is geared toward college students and pre-professional individuals pursuing a professional theatre career.
The mission of Studio Tenn’s Internship Program is to combine a theatrical education with professional experience which mirrors that of a liberal arts curriculum. In doing so, we hope to create well-rounded theatre practitioners that can enter the entertainment industry creating informed, innovative, and imaginative art.
The ultimate goal is for each intern to leave with a practical set of skills and knowledge that spans all departments and transcends the normal theatre experience, all the while developing relationships locally and with guest artists from across the nation.
